Miss Lily Mae's Blessing

We were fortunate to be able to drive up to Boise for my niece's blessing. This was my first time seeing Lily and the first time my brother has seen Maddi. It was so nice to see family and to spend time with my sister-in-laws family. I really enjoy them when they are around. Saturday we went to this little lake near their home to go fishing. I think the lake is stashed full of fish because it seemed that the boys caught quite a few. Nathan and the boys were the only ones fishing, the rest of us were watching and just enjoying the beautiful weather.
There also began a "serious" competition to get a high score on a dumb iphone game. Some little guy bounces off these green lines, and you try to get as high as you can without falling. Anyway, between Terryl and Nathan, I think that they played for many hours. At one point Carson(Nate's son) went up to Nathan and asked very nicely if he could have a turn to play on the iphone. Carson even came to my mom (grandma) and told her that he wasn't letting him have a turn. Nathan may be an adult in the eyes of society, but deep inside he will always be 12yrs.
We enjoyed seeing the difference between Lily and Maddi. Maddi is heavier than Lily, but not by much. They aren't much different in size, but yet Lily has that newborn look and Maddi has a more active look, and a very large looking head. (We love her head)
